By creating an account or using Bookikeke in any way, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have parental consent), and that you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Bookikeke is an online marketplace platform that connects customers with beauty and grooming service providers (vendors). We provide the tools for discovery, booking, and payment, but we are not the service provider ourselves.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Maintain and promptly update your account information.
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Bookings and Payments

When you book a service through Bookikeke:

• You enter into a direct agreement with the vendor for the provision of that service.
• Payments are processed securely through our payment provider (Paystack).
• Cancellation and refund policies are set by individual vendors and will be shown before you confirm a booking.
• Bookikeke takes no responsibility for the quality or delivery of services provided by vendors.

5. Vendor Responsibilities

Vendors using the Bookikeke platform agree to:

• Provide accurate descriptions of their services and pricing.
• Honor confirmed bookings made through the platform.
• Maintain professional conduct and treat customers with respect.
• Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations regarding their services.

6. Third-Party Integrations (e.g., WhatsApp, Meta)

We may use third-party services such as WhatsApp (a Meta product) to facilitate communication between vendors and customers. By using such integrations, you acknowledge that:

• These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
• Bookikeke is not responsible for the actions or policies of these third-party services.
• You consent to receiving service-related messages via these channels.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or vendors.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform.
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bookikeke shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to service disputes between customers and vendors.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms of Service. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new terms on this page. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
